Alba Restaurant

Situated on the main road 5 miles north of the Skye Bridge and 2 miles south of Broadford, Skye

Alba Restaurant is a family business founded in 2005 by the owners George and Caroline Knox. Set in the old village school, Breakish, the restaurant was once a school room and has a panoramic view of the Torridon mountains on the mainland, the Crowlin Islands, Scalpay, Pabay and Raasay and to the north the rugged Cuillen mountains of central Skye.

During the day we offer a light lunch menu as well as our homemade baking. In the evening, our menu transforms to a more extensive dinner menu. Families are always welcome and all appetites are catered for.

Alba Restaurant and Shop

Both menus contain the best of fresh locally sourced produce including seafood and fish, beef, game, dairy products and vegetables. With ingredients as good as these, George cooks them simply to traditional Scottish recipes allowing you to taste the true flavours.

The restaurant is licensed to enable you to enjoy one of our local beers or whiskies, or alternatively you can select a complimentary wine.

We look forward to welcoming you.
