The building dates back to 1691 when the pub was given the local licence for registration of births, deaths and marriages - still commemorated today by the Love Stone lintel above the fireplace which was originally presented by the husband to the new wife on the occasion of marriage.

For the discerning drinker we offer a range of Scottish Beers and a constantly changing selection of draught real ales from the Highlands and Islands is available all year round, as well as a fine collection of malts and "drams".
